Three AIML@K Students Appointed as TAs for the University-wide Data Science and AI Course GECT003

We are proud to announce that three students from AIML@K – Yeajin Lee, Dayeon Shin, and Suhyun Bae – have been selected as Teaching Assistants (TAs) for Korea University’s university-wide general education course “데이터과학과 인공지능 (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence)” in Fall 2025.
The course, GECT003, introduces students to the essential ideas behind data science and artificial intelligence. Designed as a broad general-education course for students who will live and work alongside AI systems, the course explores the principles, history, development, and future of data science and AI, while also giving students opportunities to discuss, reflect on, and directly experience key ideas in the field.
This section brings together students from a particularly diverse set of programs in Korea University, including all departments in the College of Science and the Business School as well as School of Smart Security and School of Smart Mobility. Serving this broad interdisciplinary classroom, our TAs will help students engage with a wide range of topics, from data science and Python to the foundations of machine learning, artificial neural networks, model evaluation, image classification models, large language models, Chain-of-Thought techniques, reasoning, and agentic AI.
The appointment of our lab members to this foundational AI course highlights both their strong technical backgrounds and AIML@K’s continued contribution to Korea University’s campus-wide efforts in AI education, computational literacy, and interdisciplinary learning.
Please join us in congratulating Yeajin, Dayeon, and Suhyun!
