My name is Dayeon Shin, and I am a master’s student in the Mathematical Data Science track in the Department of Mathematics at Korea University. I am a member of AIML@K, where I study artificial intelligence at the intersection of mathematics, language models, and agent systems.
I am interested in improving the reliability and practical usefulness of AI systems through mathematical thinking, structured error analysis, and agentic architectures. My recent work includes diagnosis-guided prompting for reliable Text-to-Cypher generation, LangGraph-based instructional support chatbots and real-time lecture quiz agents, RAG and multi-agent workflows for enterprise automation, and research on dynamic spatial audio generation.
After earning a B.S. in Environmental Science from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, I worked as a mathematics instructor for two and a half years. That experience strengthened my interest in education, problem-solving, and the role of AI in supporting human work. I hope to apply mathematics and AI across domains to build systems that are reliable, useful, and socially meaningful.
